I can't seem to get the above code to work? Do I use this instead of the message_block helper etc? What I'm after is the options to the message_block. I have the message block installed and working but I would like to be able to fade out the message as per you above example. How do i pass those options to message_block? Also, I'm new to rails how do I get the view to clear the form fields after the user submits? When I reload the page it still has the old values? I think this has something to do with session but not entirely sure.
